Repair options
We inspect your roof on site and explain local repairs, restoration or replacement. We recommend work based on the condition we find.
Repair, restoration or roof replacement
A local repair deals with an isolated problem while sound roofing stays in place. Damaged tiles, sheets or flashings may need replacement. Restoration combines suitable repairs with preparation and finishing, while replacing the whole roof is a larger job. Age or appearance alone does not settle the choice.
A replacement quote needs to allow for removal and adjoining connections as well as the new roofing. The roof replacement work-in-progress photographs show tile removal and valley installation, not a completed replacement outcome.
Comparing the work your roof needs
- Inspect the damage and surrounding roof to explain what can stay and what needs repair or replacement.
- Compare quotes for the same areas, materials, access, preparation and rubbish removal. Separate optional cleaning or painting from necessary repairs.
- Agree what is included, the completion checks and how any hidden damage or extra work will be approved.
Ask us to explain why more extensive work is recommended and what a local repair can achieve. Confirm any limitations and warranty terms for the quoted job in writing.

The condition of the surrounding roof
A local repair may suit one damaged area if nearby roofing is sound. Parts that are too worn or damaged to repair may need replacement. We explain the findings before recommending the work.
Combining related roof repairs
Tiles, ridge caps, flashings and drainage can need attention at the same time. We list each repair and the access needed, so you can see what is included in the combined job.
Preparing for work across several roof areas
Tell us which roof areas need attention, your priorities and any access restrictions. Existing inspection notes or drawings are useful if available. If you have a budget limit, tell us so we can discuss the proposed repairs and optional work separately.

For a single fault, tell us your suburb and where the problem appears. For several affected roof areas, add a short list of the work you are considering. Existing photos are optional; do not climb onto the roof or enter an unsafe roof space to take them.
