Tile roof repairs

Tile roof repairs

We repair concrete and terracotta tile roofs across Perth. We replace damaged tiles and check nearby ridge caps, valleys and flashings for related damage.

Replacing cracked, slipped or missing tiles

We can replace individual tiles when a suitable profile is available and the surrounding roof is sound. A replacement must fit and overlap properly; colour alone is not enough. We check spare tiles and supplier availability before confirming a match. Damage near a ridge, valley or chimney may need more than tile replacement.

Matching roof tiles and checking nearby connections

  1. Inspect cracked, slipped or missing tiles and the supports, ridge caps, valleys and flashings nearby.
  2. Check for suitable replacement tiles and agree the repair area and safe access before replacing the damaged tiles and repairing nearby faults.
  3. Check the tile alignment, overlaps and repaired junctions. Explain any colour or profile mismatch, wider damage or work not included in the quote.

Roof height, pitch and structures below the work affect safe access, particularly on two-storey homes. Do not climb onto the roof to check tiles or take photos.

Replacement tiles and safe roof access

Matching concrete and terracotta roof tiles

We check the tile profile, fit and availability before confirming a replacement. New tiles can look different from weathered tiles even when the profile is suitable.

Damage near ridges, valleys and chimneys

If damaged tiles are beside ridge capping, a valley or chimney flashing, we check those connections too. Any related repairs are listed in the written quote.

Details to send with a tile repair enquiry

Tell us your suburb, where tiles appear damaged and whether you have noticed indoor water marks or changes after a storm. You do not need to diagnose the problem. Existing photos can be emailed, but are optional; do not climb onto the roof to take them.

Two-storey roof repair

We also repair roofs on two-storey homes. These photos show the home and work at a ridge tile joint, so you can see the setting and the detail being repaired. Tell us the roof level, pitch if known, and any driveway or side-access restrictions so we can plan safe access. The equipment needed is agreed for the job.

Ridge capping & repointing

The close-up shows work at a ridge cap joint. On your roof, we check whether the caps are secure and the supporting mortar is sound before recommending repointing or rebedding. The quote identifies the ridge sections and any adjoining tiles that need attention.
